The Subtlety and Intimacy of Embodied Practice

In Zen practice, the body serves as the vehicle and territory for exploring the intimate and subtle nature of our life in all our activities, from zazen to walking to weeding to working.

In this talk, Gyodo Sensei invites us to explore the Four Noble Truths as embodied experiences – to feel the sensations of dukkha (suffering/insufficiency) in the form of craving, aversion, and ignorance within our bodies.

True intimacy comes with accepting and being present with all phenomena, including our attachments.
