Over 200 people joined with EON Zen Center, Zen Peacemakers, and other local Buddhist practitioners on Saturday in a Bearing Witness Meditation Memorial in Central Park in downtown Boulder following the tragic mass shooting in Boulder at the King Soopers grocery store on March 22, 2021.

In the summer of 2020, Eon Zen Center members joined with millions of people nationwide in protesting the ongoing violence and murder of Black people following the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.

Eon Zen joined with the Arbor Institute, Zen Peacemakers, and Saint Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church Centering Prayer Group to lead a silent bearing witness action on the CU Campus as part of the 2019 #FridaysforFuture Global Climate Strike. Over 30 people sat in stillness and silence in the midst of 300 activists and protesters on Norlin Quad, ringing the bell every 5 minutes for an hour.

In June 2017, Eon Zen Members rolled up their sleeves, pulled on their gloves and got dirty picking up trash and cleaning up a mile-long section of Highway 93 between Boulder and Golden, Colorado.
