Exploring Buddhist Perspectives on AI: An Interactive Workshop
Boulder Shambhala Center
Thursday, February 26th
4:00-5:30pm
AI is quickly weaving itself into contemporary society, reshaping attention, decision-making, power, and human agency. For Buddhist practitioners, this raises a deeper question:
What does it mean to bring our practice to this moment of uncertainty and rapid change, so that we can move forward with clarity, wisdom, and care?
Join us for a contemplative exploration of artificial intelligence through a Buddhist lens.
This workshop offers lay practitioners and meditators the opportunity to:
❋ Gain a clear, accessible introduction to AI —what it actually is and how it works
❋ Examine how AI is reshaping our attention, intention, and communities
❋ Join in a guided inquiry into its deeper ethical and spiritual implications.
❋ Explore what "right relationship" with these technologies might look like in our daily lives
Through embodied practice and compassionate dialogue, we'll create space for practitioners at all levels of tech engagement — including those who choose not to use AI — to discern their own path forward with wisdom and care.
