Body Scan

Place attention on sensations of the body (as an alternative to counting breath or other practices) for a portion of a sitting period. Sit as you normally would. Scan your body very slowly and with full attention. Feet, ankles, knees, thighs, abdomen, back, neck, face, top of your head. Don’t expect anything or look for anything in particular. Simply notice and feel.
